Giuliani on Trump-Russia Probe: “You Can’t Believe What’s Going to Come Out”

(Aug. 8, 2019) — On Thursday night’s “Hannity,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton announced that his organization received and released the much-anticipated “302s” from DOJ official Bruce Ohr’s FBI interviews which Fitton said show proof of coordination among Ohr, Russia “dossier” author Christopher Steele, and Ohr’s wife Nellie to circulate unsubstantiated claims of nefarious ties between then-presidential Donald Trump’s campaign and Russian operatives.

“THESE PEOPLE HAD A PLAN…”

Following Fitton’s appearance, investigative journalists Sara A. Carter and John Solomon said they have known for over a year of the politicization of the FBI and DOJ in 2016 in an attempt to see that Trump was not elected.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who represented Trump during the Russia investigation, said that in performing that role, he was able to confirm a plot within the federal government to derail Trump’s candidacy.  Failing that, Giuliani said, Trump’s nascent presidency was the target.

“You can’t believe what’s going to come out,” Giuliani told host Sean Hannity.  “These people had a plan” to harm Trump politically, he said.

Solomon, who returned to the show after Giuliani’s remarks, said that the U.S. State Department played a major role in propelling the “conspiracy” forward.
